Breath IQ

Health research / PIN concept · Review draft

A closer look at breath.

A nose-worn sensing concept that asks what breathing can tell us over time. First, prove the measurement.

about

One signal, many questions.

BreathIQ Pin is a concept-stage, nose-worn biosensor intended to study respiratory flow, exhaled-breath conditions and context over time. A companion platform would work toward a personal baseline.

Pre-prototype and pre-funding as of the September 2026 product overview. This is a research direction, not an available device or a clinically validated service.

explore

A phased research plan.

01 / measure

Start with breathing

Prove one basic signal first: respiratory rate measured continuously, comfortably and against a reference.

02 / build

Understand patterns

Study inhale and exhale timing, rhythm, airflow and temperature, then test what a personal baseline might reveal.

03 / validate

Expand with evidence

Breath chemistry, sleep, recovery and other indicators are later research targets. Each requires technical and clinical validation before any claim.

A roadmap toward up to 180 derived indicators is an aspirational platform architecture, not 180 current measurements or diagnoses.

questions

The hard parts are the work.

Miniaturization, battery life, comfort, condensation and calibration are open engineering questions. Breath chemistry is sensitive to environment and sensor drift. Medical uses would need clinical evidence and the appropriate regulatory pathway.
